Flowy Spirit Counselling & Wellness

FLOWY SPIRIT
/'flöë spirit/(n.) the art of returning to yourself - softly.
Presence over perfection. Flowing over fixing. A place to come home to yourself.
Flowy Spirit was created as a space for slowing down—a place where your system doesn’t have to be “on,” productive, or put together to be worthy of care.
This practice is rooted in the belief that healing is not about fixing what’s broken, but about gently reconnecting with what has been protecting you all along. Many of us move through the world in survival mode—shaped by early experiences, relationships, systemic pressures, and unspoken expectations. Flowy Spirit Counselling & Wellness exists to offer a softer alternative: a space where safety, attunement, and presence come first. We offer in person and virtual counselling from Downtown Vancouver (Robson). We specialize in trauma therapy, anxiety counselling, panic attack counselling, Relational & Attachment Counselling, burnout, grief and loss as well as ADHD & Neurodivergent Affirming Support
The Philosophy
My work is grounded in relational, trauma-informed, and nervous-system-aware care. Rather than rushing toward insight or change, we move at a pace that honours your body, your boundaries, and your lived experience. Here, your story is important—but so is your felt sense, your pauses, and what words may not yet hold.
Flowy Spirit is for those seeking a gentler relationship with themselves—whether you’re navigating trauma, burnout, life transitions, relational wounds, early experiences or simply feeling disconnected. Healing here is slow, collaborative, and deeply human.
The Human Behind the Therapist
Divyasri Chakraborty (Divs)

"I meet you as a human first—therapist later."
Divs (She/her), RCC
I’m Divs (she/her), a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) based in Vancouver. I am a brown, able-bodied, cis woman of South Asian Indian–Bengali ancestry, living as an uninvited guest on the stolen and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sel̓il̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Coast Salish peoples.
Who I Support
I work with individuals (ages 16+) navigating:
-
Complex trauma and childhood experiences
-
Burnout and emotional overwhelm
-
Relational and attachment wounds
-
Identity shifts and life transitions
I believe therapy isn’t about fixing—it’s about reconnecting. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. We work our way through it together, as we go. My approach is relational and soft, moving at your pace—one breath at a time.
Beyond the Chair
When I’m not in the therapist’s chair, you’ll often find me in nature, painting, moving to music, or near water (a true water, nature, earth soul). Art and nature are my primary ways of processing emotion. In recent years, I’ve learned to value process over product—a principle that guides both my life and my clinical work.
Let’s Connect
I see clients from a cozy office in Downtown Vancouver and online across British Columbia. If you decide to begin therapy, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you as you explore your story—at your pace.
With care,
Divs 🌿🫶🏽
